We're back on the AIR!! You can find us at www.wbcb1490.com LIVE every Sunday morning at 11 Eastern US Time.

Even MORE Previously Recorded "Live" Bible Teaching Events

From time to time we conduct in-person teaching events at various locations around the area. The format is the same as all of our other lessons but with a little more "personal" feel. Be sure to visit our "Upcoming Events" page often to see if sometime soon we will be coming to a venue near you. If you would like us to come speak at your location, please feel free to Contact Us. Don't worry, we wouldn't even know how to charge an "appearance fee". We do this for God's Glory. If invited, however, we may ask your visitors to Donate to our ministry but that is only as God leads them. Click on any (or all, eventually) of the links below to access recordings of past teaching events.  To aid in your decision, we have given a brief description of the subject matter of each lesson on the list.  However, keep in mind there might be much more included in that lesson than that description contains.  Go ahead, try your luck!!

Psalm 30

Click here to listen as we do a little in-depth analysis of one of the great treasures of the Bible.

Traits of a Christian Life

What does it mean to be a Christian?  What does a Christian look like?  Some have reported that Gandhi once said, "I would be a Christian if I ever met one."  I'm not sure if he ever said that or not but if he did it wouldn't surprise me.  Most people...even many who profess to BE Christians...don't know what a Christian actually is.  Click here and listen to a Biblical discussion of this perplexing topic.

You're a Saint!

One of the most misunderstood words in modern religion is the word "saint".  It means so many different things to so many different people.  Who's right?  God, of course.  Click here to listen to a discussion of how the Bible demonstrates God's definition of the word.

Living by Faith Part 1

So you're saved by Grace.  PRAISE GOD!! Now what?  Too often we are led to Christ without proper guidance on what to do next.  In this two part series we try our best to explore what God's Word says about this.  Click here to listen to Part 1 of our lesson on how faith applies to this life as well as the next.

Living by Faith Part 2

Click here for Part 2 of our discussion on the life of faith.

Salvation

What if someone came up to you and asked, "What do I have to do to gain salvation"?  Would you know how to answer the question?  It certainly isn't an answer you want to get wrong.  Click here to listen to some incredibly valuable information for your soul and the souls of those that are close to you.

The Apostles Prayer

One day, one of Jesus' apostles asked Him to teach them to pray.  The answer Jesus gave has become one of the most often repeated teachings Jesus ever gave but is it something we should simply "repeat"?  Click here to listen to our discussion of what tradition calls "The Lord's Prayer".

Prayer

One of the most common expressions found in the world's religions is prayer.  So much of prayer is based more on tradition than on Biblical principles.  Click here for a discussion on this most important communication tool with God.

Mind Your Business

One of the things that keeps so many people from going to church are churchgoers.  Let's face it, there is a lot of judging going on in the pews.  It seems no one is immune.  Click here for our lesson on who really has a right to judge others.  I think you already know that answer, but listen anyhow.  It might do us ALL some good.

The Tabernacle in the Wilderness

It is a fact that the entire Bible speaks of Christ.  He is found not only in the Gospels and New Testament but He is clearly described in the Old Testament, as well.  God once told Moses to build Him a house but it was o' so much more than that.  The Tabernacle in the Wilderness is laid out to perfectly represent the life and work of our Savior Jesus Christ.  This amazing building complex from the Old Testament is perhaps the most startling example we have of God's control over history and the lives of His children.  Chapel Ministries is dedicated to showing that God CAN be trusted.  Chapel Ministries is dedicated to showing that God is indeed ALMIGHTY.  Below are links to some lessons we delivered on this incredible construction project designed by God Himself.

Gospel Facts-Matthew

One of our goals at Chapel Ministries is to give you a well-rounded education in Scripture.  Too many people write off the Bible without knowing any facts about it.  From time to time we take you through some of the academic literature to discover amazing facts about this Book we so love.  Click here to learn a little bit more about the Gospel of Matthew than you probably knew before.

A Colony of Heaven

Sometimes it feels like we Christians are foreigners in a strange land.  You know why it feels like that?  Because it's true!  Jesus said "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you".  While still on this earth we are but colonists under a different King.  Click here to listen to us discuss this matter.

Hope Thou in God

The lyrics of a famous church hymn go something like this, "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee."  Well that hymn comes straight from another one of our favorite Psalms:  Psalm 42.  This beautiful passage from Scripture teaches us that when times are hard, we should turn to the Almighty as our Eternal Hope.  Click here and see if our lesson can help ease the burdens of your heart.

Christ and the Old Testament

It is no secret that the world thinks we are fools for trusting in the validity of Scripture.  To this scientific age, the Bible is only a collection of fairy tales.  Well, we know better and so does Jesus.  Click here to listen to a lesson we taught on how Jesus viewed Scripture.

Sola Fide

Part of the foundation of the Protestant Reformation was the insistence that salvation was not by works but by "faith alone".  The Latin theological term is "Sola Fide".  Click here as we examine this principle and the Biblical basis on which it rests.
