We're back on the AIR!! You can find us at www.wbcb1490.com LIVE every Sunday morning at 11 Eastern US Time.

Even MORE Previously Recorded "Live" Bible Teaching Events

From time to time we conduct in-person teaching events at various locations around the area. The format is the same as all of our other lessons but with a little more "personal" feel. Be sure to visit our "Upcoming Events" page often to see if sometime soon we will be coming to a venue near you. If you would like us to come speak at your location, please feel free to Contact Us. Don't worry, we wouldn't even know how to charge an "appearance fee". We do this for God's Glory. If invited, however, we may ask your visitors to Donate to our ministry but that is only as God leads them. Click on any (or all, eventually) of the links below to access recordings of past teaching events.  To aid in your decision, we have given a brief description of the subject matter of each lesson on the list.  However, keep in mind there might be much more included in that lesson than that description contains.  Go ahead, try your luck!!

The Names of God

In the modern world, names have little significance to the person to whom they are associated.  Not so in Biblical times.  God has so many ways by which He communicates to us His nature and intentions.  One of those ways is by the names He gives Himself.  Click the links below to hear how God describes Himself through His various names.

More Names of God

The Word

John's Gospel starts out telling us that in the beginning was the Word.  The other three Gospels began with much more practical subjects like lineage, baptisms, and birth announcements.  Whatever did the Apostle John mean?  Click here and listen as we discuss the "LOGOS".

The Miracles of Christ

One of the most persistent criticisms of the Bible and those that adhere to its validity claim that this collection of documents records "improbable events".  Those of us with the "upward look" call them miracles.  Click here to listen to as we discuss what science rejects.

Can We Rely on the New Testament?

At Chapel Ministries we depend heavily upon God's Word.  We have always stressed that one of the things you MUST do in order to grow in your relationship with God is get to know Scripture.  But how reliable is that advice?  Isn't the Bible just a bunch of nonsense put together by primitive men?  Click here and listen in on a fact based discussion about this very ancient collection of writings we call the New Testament.

Christ in the 7 Feasts of Israel

Throughout all time God has been communicating to us about His Son.  The entire Bible is dedicated to revealing Christ to the children of God.  One of the most startling examples of this Truth is found in the Book of Leviticus Chapter 23.  Click here and be prepared to be amazed as we discuss how the very well known 7 feasts of Israel ALL represent the life and work of our Lord.

Psalm 24

Who is your king?  Who rules your life?  For most Americans, the answer is "NO ONE"!  Is that really true?  If so, is that really a good thing?  David was one of the mightiest kings the world has ever known and yet he never forgot that he too was the subject of a Great King.  A proper relationship between the ruled and the ruler is one of mutual love and respect.  Psalm 24 demonstrates this truth.  Click here to listen a lesson on this beautiful treasure from the ancient Hebrew song book.

Faith

Click here and listen in on a discussion we had on one of the most critical subjects in the life of a Christian.

Sola Scriptura

In your spiritual life, if what you are being told, taught or advised upon goes against what is found in Scripture than it is NOT true.  Paul once said, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Gal 1:8) Click here to listen to a discussion about the concept of Sola Scriptura.

The Temptation in the Wilderness

The Bible says, "And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil..." (Luke 4:1-2).  Click here and listen in as we examine this very intriguing event in the life of Jesus.

The Parable of the Sower

One of the many ways that Jesus used to teach us was explaining things through stories called parables.  One of the most fascinating and descriptive of these is the parable of the sower.  Click here to learn the vital lesson Jesus was teaching His disciples and us these many centuries later.
